 The River of Narampanawa


Narampanawa River is located in the beautiful village of  Narampanawa in the Kandy area. Although not much known it is now a popular destination for both local and foreign tourists. The Narampanawa River consists of seven waterfalls. The village of  Narampanawa is also famous for this river. That is why today this village and the river are also used for teledrama filming etc. Spread over a vast area this river is truly beautiful. The "Hulu Gnga"  is the main source of water for this Narampanawa River.


Many villagers in Narampanawa still meet their water needs from this river
