Sri Lanaka is truly a land of natural beauty. There are several major cities in Sri Lanka that attracted local as well as many foreign tourists. Among them Kandy is a very special city. When it comes to Sri Lankan history the kingdom of Kandy is the last kingdom of Sri Lanka. In fact Kandy is a city that has attracted not only local but also many foreign tourists. The city of Kandy is surrounded by natural mountains and rivers.



    When we talking about the city of Kandy, many people pay attention to the Temple of the Tooth. The Temple of the Tooth which is of great historical value is located in the heart of Kandy. The left tooth relic of the Loard Buddha is housed in the temple of the Tooth and is considered a highly revered religious center from then until today. Every year in the month of August a procession called Esala Perahara is held for the Tooth Relic. The circle of the lake adjacent to the Temple of the Tooth is also very beautiful. Moreover when talking about the city of Kandy one can talk about many places of value. Namely Bahiravakanda Temple of the Tooth is also very beautiful. Moreover, when talking about the city of Kandy, one can talk about many places of value. Namely Bahiravakanda Temple, Nelligala Temple, Ambekke Temple etc.....Kandy is not really a city for those of us who live there. It is like our home. "Kandy" this is not really a city for those of us who live there. It is like our home. "Kandy" this is truly a blessed land. It is like our home. " Kandy" is not truly a blessed land. It is a great privilege to live here.
